About Presets

What are presets?

Presets are Adobe Lightroom's way of saving a set of editing adjustments so that you can easily re-apply the same adjustments to multiple photos. These adjustments include things like exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites, blacks, and pretty much anything else you can change on a photo in Lightroom.

After receiving endless amounts of questions and compliments on my presets and my Instagram feed, I have decided to share my love for editing and photography with all that are interested and make them super affordable for everyone out there. I have combined and designed preset packs according to different trending styles and editing preferences to accommodate all individuals and their interests.

So why are Lightroom Presets so useful?

Lightroom Presets are very useful for several reasons:

They save you a lot of time. A predesigned filter that caters for your look & feel can easily be applied onto your photos to create a uniform look. Adjustments made ti each photo then is minimal.
If you’ve shot a lot of images at one time, you may want to apply similar adjustments to them all. Once you’ve edited one image, you can copy and paste those exact preset and settings from one image and paste onto another. This is a common approach amongst wedding/travel photographers as it saves a lot of time editing.
Allows you to create a signature style for your brand identity or personal feed to set you apart from everyone else out there.
Presets often create effects that you’re not expecting. If you’re not sure how to edit a photo, it can be helpful to browse through Lightroom Presets. Often you will be surprised at how good some of the Presets make your photos look
